Granero del Burro update

Granero del Burro
The barn has now had a porch added which is designed to keep out the rain and create a nice area to sit. There is a bench either side of the porch and an area underneath each bench to store and dry wood for the wood burning stove. Copper guttering has also been added to the barn and the porch so the whole wet weather experience is now much drier!!
Porch 3
More paths have been built and new areas have been seeded with grass. The car park banking has been planted with Gorse bushes to give some Spring colour and a selection of aromatic plants have been added to create a small herb garden. Additional planting will be added over the next few weeks. The Pear tree is in full flower and the Silver Birches that were planted during the Winter are now in bud.
Porch 1
All the external areas have been tidied up ready for our first guests and the only thing missing now is some warm sunshine to help everything grow. The horses in the field next door have been keeping the grass down and the Rock Buntings have now been joined by a male Cirl Bunting and some male Bullfinches. All very Springlike, but minus the sun!!
